can you use other routers with Sky?

[link to this post]

I'm looking to get sky,bb when they eventually enable it in my area. I have heard that they provide you with a preconfigured wireless router, but I'd like to use my own Netgear rangemax router if possible. Is it possible to configure your own router for Sky Broadband?

Yes, though you have to use a hack to get your PPPoA username and password out of the box.
