Activation date today...

Got home from a night shift to hear that the Internet is no longer working, wasn't too worried as it's THE day..
After sleeping, connected up the Sky router and it connected.

Looking at the stats, I'm synced at 8Mbps downstrea and getting just over 5Mbps download speed.
Upstream I'm synced at 766Kbps, although only getting 300Kbp upload.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8661 kbps 766 kbps
Line Attenuation 40.5 db 23.9 db
Noise Margin 7.1 db 1 2.0 db

A couple of speed checks here.

My upload has been capped as well.

I'm annoyed about this as the only reason i went for the max package was the higher upload speed, but sky now seem to be either changing profiles to cap or even if they don't their traffic management system is capping even if you sync at the higher rate.

Can sky sell you something then halve it's rating and get away with it. One annoyed customer at the moement!!!
