changing email password

[link to this post]

I have a username and password supplied to allow me to log in at skybroadband.com.

However I dont see any option to change the rather meaningless password. Any ideas anyone?

This couldnt possibly also be the elusive username and password for signing in from the router could it? Anyone managed to find out how to get those details so we can use other than the netgear equipment?

The Tech forum over at www.skyuser.co.uk tells you how to get the PPoA username and password - so that you can use any other router you like.

IIRC it's just a case of entering a certain URL into your web browser.

I think its for the sky broadband website Adam

in which case

I am sorry to have to advise that we are still having issues with our email service and that there are a percentage of customers like you who are still unable to access this service. Sky do take this issue and any other issue very seriously and I can confirm that we are currently in the process of resolving this issue but that we are unable to confirm an exact date at present but we have been led to believe that it should be in the very near future.

This issue is unfortunately an issue with our email servers and due to this we are no longer either issuing new or replacement passwords until this fix has been implemented.

Once the fix has been successfully implemented then we shall endeavour to contact you to advise of the next step.

Whilst appreciating that this does not resolve the issue to hand I hope that you can understand why we are unable to resolve the issue and please accept our sincere apologises whilst this matter is ongoing.

Should you require any further questions to be answered then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards
