Just connected,my new line stats and speed

Can i get quicker or this the best i will get?
For some reason i get better stats from the bedroom socket.Also the sky router gives near enough the same speed as my speedtouch 585...I can download from newsgroups at 1170kb's...

Do i need a faceplate for the main socket etc?

From what it looks like, you probably are being greedy for speed - lol :-D

Those stats are great, short line and great noise margin, hence the excellent sync; have you performed any speed tests, this site has a great one, on the home page, select Speed Test from the left.

I have the Mid package and synced at 7Megs down, but average download speed tests give about 2.5megs!
