Interleaving/Fastpath

Basically wondering if anyone else has tried to be put on Fastpath recently? I play FPS games at a really high level and am sick of a 40ms ping when everyone else in the server has 23ms at worst. Ive rang on a couple of occasions and tier 3 have said under no circumstances can you be put on fastpath, yet ive read people on this site are on it. Anyone know of a way i can get put on it? If i cant get put on it i will likely migrate, its that big of an issue for me

I emailed sky to ask as I'm thinking of migrating

"Thank you for your email regarding the connection you can expect if you choose to migrate to Sky Broadband. We only have interleaving on the Max package, Mid and Base are set to fast mode. I trust this information is useful to you."

So basically fast speed - high ping

MAX is on ADSL2+ and as such the speeds can't be obtained without interleaving. However I can get 28ms to www.bbc.co.uk on Bulldog ADSL2+ connection.

Hmm interesting, i might be tempted to down grade then, but i asked and they said its interleaved all across the board. I get 40ms to every site and uk server with interleaving on

Find that hard to believe to be honest. Most places north of Manchester on BT fastpath have 30ms+ pings so finding a server filled with people less that that is unlikely.

I know my pings were 30-31ms on IPstream fastpath and with sky max interleaved they are only 35ms or so with much more stability.

And really, as long as your ping is under 50 you're not going to notice it unless you have a board showing everyone's pings so you get jealous.
