Can I use just an ADSL Broadband modem?

[link to this post]

Hi,

Will be getting Sky broadband soon. Am wondering if I can just use an ADSL Broadband modem instead of the wireless router?

How do you find out your username and password to log in to Sky broadband through just the ADSL modem?

Thanks!
Andy

Technicaly yes http://dg834gt.mognuts.com/NetgearRouterUtility.html gets the details for you from the sky router the T&Cs say no though

If on LLU your modem will have to be adsl2 compatible ie Max & Mid
