Wooo Hooo Joining sky BB

[link to this post]

Ok guys joining Sky BB, question,

only signed up a few days ago on one of my lines,

Ive heard people say the the router they send you has your
user name and password embedded, and that Sky wont
give you those details.

In a lettter from sky today they have provided my user name and password,
would this allow use in my own router?

thanks

No, that will allow you to logon to skybroadband.com the use your webmail.

Use this utility to get the logon details from your router

No thats the username and password to access the Sky portal for your email etc.

The router details aren't given out to customers even over the phone, you need to extract them manually once you get the router.

all depends on your noise, based on them stats and the IP profile you are on you would get about 790 ish but if on sky you got onto a higher profile you could expect around 890k but then again if you noise margin is really good it could go higher.
