Has anyone got login details from Sky ever?

I'm now on day 5 with no broadband, and be the looks of it, it's going to be at least another week before i get online, thats if there are no more hiccups.

Has anyone ever managed to get Sky to give router login details? Surely this would be a lot easier for Sky than to have customers ringing up everyday asking where their router is.

Sky CS will not give out your username and password. In fact I doubt that they even know what it is when you consider that any, and I mean any, Sky router will work on your connection with the default username / password installed. I've no idea how their authentication system works, but I've a feeling that all the authentication is done by the line cards at the exchange.

As far as know the username and passwords and the router are paired so they dont know what router has been allocated so dont know the password.
