IP Profile

Seems mine is stuck at 2000kbps, just rang Tech support who insist my line can only handle 2mb (bull as i've had 8mb since the Trials and always synced at 8mb with 15db margin and always had a 7150 profile).

How do i go about getting this reset?

�5 connect, been stuck at 2mb since i changed over from old ISP (Was a Max Premium service).

Been on Sky now 3days and its not changing, but its been 2mb since 14th

So you on ADSL max? what's your upstream?

Sorry, can't help with BT ADSL MAX stuff - stuck bras, 10-day training period, stuff like that.

Shouldn't be trainning, like i said had Max for over a year now, its a stuck bras, but Sky tell me my line can only handle 2mb therefore won't help

Sky now say because the BTwholesale checker says "Our test also indicates that your line should be able to support a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 2Mbps or greater."

They say my line can only handle 2mb and their systems have set up the IPProfile accordinly.

Surely as i've been connected at 8mb since ADSL Max went on Trial back in Jan 06 .

MrSaffron can you get the checker changed as they won't listen to me.

For the benefit of others the checker result does NOT control what IP profile you have. The checker may update to reflect the IP profile over time, BUT if the IP Profile is STUCK you are wanting the ISP to request it to be reset.

Sky won't reset it though, as far as they are concerned it being at 2mb is correct as the checker says i can only have 2mb or greater.
