Sky router preconfigured with a username and password

Hi All

Got on board with Sky BB about 4 weeks ago and having lots of problems with them and their technical support hence why I am post here, the Netgear router sent by them was preconfigured with a username and password thus allowing me only to use their router, is there any way to find out what they are so I can use a different one?
