Outlook Express and Sky's new Google platform

[link to this post]

Hi, Sky's platform change is complicating the use of subscribers email access who use - for example - [email protected] (having taken their POP address/info from their last ISP).
Don't change ANY details on your Outlook Express setup info ie completely disregard Sky's instruction email to you re: platform change. Their info ONLY applies to [email protected] addresses.
This might seem superfluous telling you this, but speaking from personal experience - having received in excess of 300 instruction emails (Yes! 300) from Sky, I found my Outlook Express "@btinternet.com addresses" wouldn't send or receive. However, T1 support from Sky - via a telephone call from THEM to ME resolved the issue.
Sky service can be a bit "variable", but I'm generally quite satisfied.
Les.

I think that's the point and it has been said before. Some will experience problems but on the whole for what you pay, what you get is pretty good by any standards.,
