Hi all, We've been with UKFSN/Entanet for a year and have few complaints but have decided that 5 against 20 is a no-brainer as we already have Sky TV. The order was placed last night (45 mins on their wretched 0870 number...!) and MAC arrived today from UKFSN. We haven't given Sky the MAC yet because of one major concern...
How long, if at all, will we be without broadband service? UKFSN state that changeover will be 'seamless' but we don't know whether he has taken into consideration the LLU factor. Our exchange (Paignton, Devon) is enabled for Sky LLU..
All comments and advice appreciated.
TIA

I gave sky my MAC on the 18th feb,and was told 27th feb should be connected, checked at 9am and still with my old ISP,checked again at 10am and could not connect to my ISP,swapped my router for the sky router and there it was connected to sky.So for me never noticed any downtime.

About 2 minutes downtime I had when I switched to Sky - so virtually no time at all.

Thanks for the reply, was that for a migration from a non-LLU to Sky? Also, was the 1 month for the changeover to take place or were you without service for that time?
