Latest Router Firmware

Hi

Does anyone have any idea how long it will take Sky to update the router/modems with the latest firmware. I have the old white netgear and my connection always drops if i leave it idle for a few minutes. I have been advised that the new firmware may help to solve this. I currently have the old firmware.

Any advise will be greatly received.

What firmware version have you got currently?

Here is the latest firmware for the DG834GT router that it sounds like you have. Also included are instructions on updating the firmware.

I will check when I get home. I remember a previous thread on this subject and at the time I had the old firmware. As of last night that was still the case.

I will also check the link to see about upgrading it myself.
