Packet Loss, unplayable network conditions

[link to this post]

I can't play anything on Xbox Live, the connection is pretty much useless for anything other than light web browsing, this has been happening most days this week, daytime and evening.

Is anyone else suffering this problem?

Does anyone have suggestions? I know with my previous ISPs, it's been a case of rebooting until I got onto a different pipe, is it the same with sky?

from what I can make out the messy layout of the trace analysis the raw connectivity to that ip looks fine. I concur with the other suggestion to restart the router.

Plug the router into the test socket and see if you still have the issue, as your SNR seems a little low.

I've restarted it several times, it's plugged into a faceplate type filter.

I'll remove the faceplate and try using a plug in filter on the test socket.

I'm still getting disconnected after a few seconds of play :[

removing faceplate and using test socket makes no difference.

What package are you on with Sky?
If its connect your line could be managed in the evenings.

Broadband mid, the issue is still happening, and it occurs all day and night. It's not just one game, and i've also tried a couple of xboxes.

I don't think I can try to eliminate anything else within my house...emailled sky tech support but they haven't got back to me so i'm going to ring today.
