New to Sky - slower speeds

Hi,

i moved to sky one month ago from BE where I was getting about 11MB but, I am now seeing around 8MB on sky llu service.

Here are my router stats

Operational Mode ADSL2+
Upstream 796
Downstream 8184
SNR Margin(Upstream) 11.0
SNR Margin(Downstream) 8.2
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 21.8
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 39.5

Is it worth me giving sky a call? If so will they even speak to me as the account is in my mums name (she's 60 and wouldn't have a clue on speaking to them on the phone about this). Or can i email them?

yes give them a call...i just did & i have an extra 4-5 meg download after the call but don't let them put you through to india

Ring them up and ask them to put you on the Gaming profile.

She can at least tell them that she authorises you forever to deal with it on her behalf before handing over to you.
