Waiting for router..

[link to this post]

Well after waiting so far 5 weeks, Tuesday i should go live....or not.

Seems when i try the tracking number they provided my router has been delivered from the Shrewsbury DO - i live 20 miles from Shrewsbury and have not received it....guess here goes waiting 6 + weeks.

I have to say, i have had TT LLU setup from scratch and so far SKY LLU....

TT was a much quicker setup, this has been terrible as they cancelled my order for adsl half way through (even though the line was SKY active) and had to be reordered.

If you do ever go to sky, ensure you have a backup...and you dont mind waiting well over a month for service!

Almost a month now for me too! My broadband went live on Thursday, but they can't even deliver the router on time. Have my own router connected but obviously don't have my username and password but have at least been able to see my line stats which at least look promising smile

I can confirm it works on my belkin N1 when you get your username/password is the password about 10 characters long of is it double that with a / in the middle.

Reason i ask is the first time i tried to get my user i was putting the wrong mac address in out of my sky router and it was giving me the wrong password it gave me one about 20 characters with the /.

I was putting the ADSL Port MAC in but to get the right password i had to put the LAN Port MAC in then it gave me the right 10 characters password worth checking out just to make sure you got the right one.

You can tell if its wrong password your ADSL light will be red

Are you connecting your PC with wireless or wired to the router?
