Sky Unlimied does it really mean unlimted?

I am new to sky broadband the main reason I chose it was for the unlimited bundle which i need as I watch a lot of iplayer and on demand video.

The speed test show I am getting around 16 down and 1 up however every night from 7 when I settle in to catch up on missed tv I have loading problems on every site bbc, itv, c4 and c5. takes ages to load and continually re-buffers during viewing. Is this traffic management? i test the speed whilst the buffering is going on and it still shows at around the same 16 down and 1up. Any input would be appreciated.

Is this when you're watching on the Sky TV box, or streaming on the internet?

line attenuation is 21 down and 13.8 up if that is relevant. I'm very new to all this

I find the Sky TV box ideal for catch-up.

i think i may have discovered the problem, hopefully, chrome and flash on a mac. have disabled the internal flash and checking if it all works fine.

No, the chrome flash fix hasn't done the trick. Still suffering buffering and re-buffering on video after 6pm each night

Possibly congestion on the backhaul if the slow downs are at peak times. There are a number of exchanges affected by this.
