Sky Fibre IP address.

Can anyone confirm if the IP address is always going to be the same on Sky Fibre?

IP used to change daily or more on ADSL2+ with Sky however my Ip hasn't changed since changing to Sky Fibre.

In general, yes.

Have you tried turning the router off overnight?

Nope, never gets turned off. I don't want the IP to change smile

If it is static or "sticky" then I don't have to worry about dyndns ... if ever I have a need to get remote access.

It's sticky, but still dynamic. If it's not "critical" that the IP address never changes, then ditching dyndns is certainly a possibility.

If the lease isn't renewed within an hour the chances are the IP address will change. There was a 2 hour outage in my area last night and I ended up with a new IP address for the first time in months.
