The trial was advertised on Sky's forum. It was only open to Sagem router users. I'd keep an eye on their forum - they may well announce another trial soon.
The company I work for has just added IPv6 to the VPN service. Shame I am not on a ISP supplier that has IPV6. Even more of a shame is that the time to connect has gone up from 20seconds to around 90 seconds (all those IPV6 timeouts before deciding to revert to IPV4). Even better was the company IT support team saying I must have a slow ISP when I asked why the difference in VPN connection time when the VPN software was updated 3-4 weeks ago. Still a lot to learn around IPv6 use, deployment & support.
Sky were PM'ing customers telling them the trial got cancelled due to lack of applicants, but they have actually started the trial using people they themselves invited to the trial, seems a bit of a farce, so the trial is still happening but they dont want the world to know about it now.
so if a SKY rep was to read this board & message, who is looking for extra customers for a sky IPV6 trial, then I know someone who may be interested. I know from said person that you can not get on the trial via sky customer services, as the trial is invisible ....
