the sky q hub? as thats what they told me i was getting and nope, they still dont allow it which is utter balls.

They want more money for the Q hub. I know one Sky Fibre customer whom complained heavily as his SR102 that was 4 days old failed, and they said "the Q hub is £65" so he told them he'd cancel the whole thing and they eventually relented and provided the Q hub!

The SR102 is not even 5ghz, so pretty ancient frown

this is why im going to use my hg612 with the sp08 firmware with an r7000, bt modem provides better sync speeds and latency, r7000 is a machine.

well... sky has already been connected a day early xD, speed is at 66/20, i should get more i did on bt, but i dont have my hg612 yet, my old one was binned and it gives me like 5-10Mbps more than the hh5a from bt, so i reckon i can squeeze more out.

also SINGLE FIGURE PING!!!!!!!!!!! get in.

im getting packet loss and im only getting 7Mbps download, 4 upload with the sr102...

i think i have either congestion or maybe my connection hasnt been fully connected up.

synced at 66/20.

Seems fine to me. Hop 2 de-prioritises ICMP ping responses as they don't really matter, hops 5 and 6 don't respond to pings.

The fact that hops beyond 2 respond in normal times says that 2 is behaving fine when passing data.

The first thing to try to get that fixed is for Sky to reboot their gateway

that is fine, sky have routers that dont respond to pings or respond at an extremely low rate.

e.g. my dslam is always * on traceroutes, but on a mtr it does process about 1% of ping packets.
