Signing up to get NowTV broadband

[link to this post]

I cannot complete signing up to NowTV to get broadband because I do not use
a mobile phone. The signal where I live is more or less nil.

Should I ask a friend to host messages from NowTV.?
How many do they send?
How urgent are they?

I'm interested in NowTV because they offer a one month contract.

Any help will be much appreciated .....I found their web site of little use.

Let us hope 2021 is better for all of us.

Mobile number was used by the BT engineer when they came to fix the line and when the service started. <10 txt messages. Once you are running with a nowtv.com account you can ring them up and have the mobile number removed (as per the instructions on your account details FAQ screen)..

Thank you IanD for your reply..

I am not convinced that NowTV is right for me due to the low level of support I've read about.
That said I'm still waiting for a reply to message sent to Zen 2 weeks ago ...so much for their much praised service.

I do not need to change ISP just yet so will take time to decide what to do.

Thanks again for your advice.

Zen are extremely poor at answering emails. Best to ring or use their live chat.

David

BT (poor) -> Zen (excellent) -> O2 (started well, went downhill -> IDNet (No complaints - but 100GB cap) -> Zen (gone downhill)
