From Virgin to TalkTalk

Hiya, im thinking of changing from Virgin plan 1 (8mg, 20gb capped n all) to TalkTalk, i do alot gaming and downloading. Will i notice a difference, is this a bad idea as i read different things about TalkTalk, I know virgin are not to good but i have just been upgraded to 8mg after i send some snotty emails, everything seems fine now :P
