Static IP's on a residential service.

Is there anyway to get static IP addresses on the residential broadband service, there is an option with the business service to "buy" IP addresses per month.

Is this possible with the residential service?

Ii don't need it but it would be useful if it is an option.

TalkTalk do not offer static IP addresses on the residential service.

If you do need one, have you looked into using a 'virtual' static ip, easydns offer this service and I have heard good things about it.
