Hi there
I have been offer for free Broadband +talk3 with talktalk for 8.99 + Line rental in July. Currently, my line rental is with talktalk.. talk2 and my ISP is with UKOnline 2mb UnLimit. I agree to go ahead with the new package without serious consideration.
I have not called UKO to cancelation yet.
I am still in the process of transfering and have been inform that LIVE date is on 10 Aug.
I wonder if talktalk can just take over my broadband without me canceling UKO? I want to stay with UKO and want to cancel my BB service with talktalk... and back to where i was.. which is line+talk2...

I am calling them today to get it cancel... they said they would try their best to cancel my broadband...
1. Is it possible that talktalk can cancel their connecttion before the live date?
2. Now, since the LIVE date is so near 10 Aug... i just wonder if i am going to get the interuption or disconnecttion from my UKOnline service...
I am so convern about losing my service...
If i get disconnected... what should i do?

What i mean is?
Will talktalk cancel my live date (10Aug) on time? I phone them today 8 Aug and they will request the disconnection for me...
I am afraid is... talktalk will do nothing about it... or act too late and my current ISP(UKonline) will stop and i lose all internet connection...

It may be too late, cancelling is hit and miss with such short notice.

Yep usually 48 hours before you are due to go live, your order goes into what is called point of no return on talktalk's systems. This is where the order has been comitted to BT openreach to complete the transition to talktalk's LLU service. If a cancel command was placed during this period it may well be too late and as MrSaffron said, it is very hit and miss if it will reach BT and be picked up in time.

What if it miss...
should I use their account and password to gain the broadband?
What about existing ISP UKO... they seem to know nothing about the disconnection...? as i mention before. i have not inform UKO about disconnection.
Will i be able to get back to UKO and use my existing UKO account? if somehow the talktalk get discontected sometime after the live date?
