Welcome pack not received

I signed-up for TalkTalk online on 26 Jul. I was told I would receive a welcome pack within a week and my service would start 20 Aug.

I received an email shortly after my order confirming details as above.

I still haven't received a welcome pack and the "order tracking" screen hasn't changed since I first looked at it on 26 Jul.

Do welcome packs normally take this long to arrive?
Is the order tracking screen normally updated?

My welcome pack took about four weeks to arrive from the date that I was connected.

They had given me a wrong connection date. I didn't even know I was connected to talktalk until the ISP I was with was cut off.

I realised then that it was through being LLUd to talk talk that I had lost my connection to my previous ISP and phoned TalkTalk for a username and password, which I can't deny got me online right away!

You will find that customer service is very poor, and that's putting it mildly!
Not that I'm knocking them by the way, as at the price I can't really complain!

Signed up on the 10th of July here, got the welcome pack a week before the the land line was switched over. I'd give them a ring if you're worried, but I'd be patient for now. The Broadband was meant to be connected today here actually, no sign of the free modem and stuff [not that I need it].
I'm glad I didn't take a TalkTalk sales persons advice and request a cease of my current adsl service for today now!.

Just to add, the order tracker seems to be 24 hours behind or so.
