Sorry, In answer to your question as to whether you should buy their supplied modem, probably the Echolife, I would say yes. I say this because if it works for you, excellent! If it doesn't then you can return it to their modem returns department, get a refund, then buy another somewhere else, which will no doubt come with it's own technical support anyway!

Yep i think talktalk is probably the best deal on the market at the moment. Id suggest getting the free wired modem, there is then no need to fork out

I also have been on the talk3 international deal for the last three weeks. My pnone was connected on the date they said it would, and they connected my broadband at the same time, lthough they didn't tell me they had done so.i have had one or two teething problems with the internet connection but with help from the TT forum and technical customer support I have it all sorted and it is now working fine. I have found the help lines good and they seem to know what they are talking about. I was sent the Smart AXMT 882 wired modem and at the moment it seems to be ok. I am getting a down load speed of 3.2 mbs allthough my neighbour says he is getting up to 6 mbs so I hope mine will improve. Am I wasting my time switching the modem off and on to increase the sync rate and thereby the speed??
