a little help please?

can anyone tell me if talktalk use the adsl2+ protocol or just normal adsl. i was wondering because im thinking about moving to them however im on a long line so was concerned with speeds etc.

line stats are as follows.

Connection Speed 1152 kbps/288 kbps
Line Attenuation 60 db/15.5 db
Noise Margin 13 db/19 db

ADSL2+

... and you might get double the speed you get now if you are lucky. (Nothing guaranteed of course).

think carefully before you do anything.

read the Forums first to find the best ISP

don't forget if you move most ISP 's now have a 12 or 18 month Contract Period.

"Most" may be an exaggeration... though it's certainly true of the bigger, well-advertised ones, the very cheap ones, and those that offer free activation or router etc.

They have to get their money back somehow!
