Quiet Line Test No for LLU'd circuits?

[link to this post]

Tried dialling 17070 to carry out a quiet line test on my line, and instead of getting the options only had the telephone number of the line announced.
Anybody know of a different quiet line test number for use where the line has been taken over by the BB provider?
Many thanks

There currently is no way of doing a quiet test on the TT LLU Network, when its needed (fault reported through to OPAL) then we can get BT to switch their TAM on which allows Quiet test to be carried out to prove external network

However just because BT TAM shows no noise it doesnt mean the line will be noise free, could be any number of reasons

Whats the problem you having that you want to carry out quiet test for?
If you post some details you may be able to get soem advise from peeps in the forums for help

Thanks for the info Badem.
Problems being experienced on the voice side of the line, so probably not appropriate for this board - but external parties reporting crackling, hissing, speech breakup and in quite a few cases the line drops out. Been reported to TT so hopefully should get fixed in not too distant future.
Best regards
