Usenet Newsgroups

When I received my signup/logon details several months ago, it came with the TalkTalk newsgroup server address. Naturally I wasn't able to get a connection as talktalk have either suspended or not yet enables their newserver.
Are there any plans to provide a news server either shortly or in the future, or is it a forlorne hope?

I didn't think TalkTalk provide usenet.

TalkTalk do not provide usenet servers

How ever, there are a couple of free ones you can use..

news.opaltelecom.net used to work in the old days before free broadband and I also would like to see it reinstated.
