Funny thing

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so sorry if this has come up before.

I was with F2S untill 31.12.07 (maxadsl at 6MB) when I migrated to TalkTalk as they promised free BB as they unbundled my exchange, (Borough Green). I checked on the TalkTalk website which said i was able to have free BB and on the Sam Knows website which said the exchange was with TalkTalk.

I phoned up customer services this morning to change some details and asked when i would be able to get upto 8MB as at the moment as I am getting 2MB (rock solid by the way and free) and they said my exchange was not unbundled and did not have an update date.

Customer service told be to do 6 speed tests at www.speedtest.net and phone back later in the week with the results to see if they could increase my speed.

When i do a speed test it says my ISP is Opal Telecom.

Can anybody help??

What are your stats? Attenuation, noise margin and sync rate.

Can you dial out on a voice call using the BT prefix 1280?

I can still phone out using the 1280 prefix. I've has my TalkTalk landline since June 2007.

Here are my line stats:

That indicates you are on a TT branded BT Wholesale IpStream product at 2megs fixed. This is usually provided for

I gave up with customer services in the end, I got a very nice man on the phone and he sounded to have some knowledge, he put me on hold and i waited 25 minutes, them was putt through to somebody else to told ME to phone back in 3 days???

Anyway even though I have BB I tracked my order on the TalkTalk website and it said I was moving to the TalkTalk network on the 6/02/08 and a greyed out box for the 8/02/08
that says You're now live on our network.
