Taking ages to login/authenticate

[link to this post]

Anyone elses connection taking ages to authenticate with TT's servers? Im sync'd with the line etc but thats about it. Spent the past hour, rebooting the router and the pc. Decided to try that as thats what CS would have told me to do!

what time of day?

Parents are on fishermead exchange (bradwell) and they couldn't login between 5pm and 7pm at all, sometimes longer. I upgraded them to a router to avoid this problem as TalkTalk have no answer or solution to the peak-time login problem
