Just had a woman at the door asking me to confirm my telephone was with BT which made me suspicious but she assured me she was only wanting to make sure I was getting all the correct options. At no point was any ID shown which made me suspect this was not a BT rep & after I assured her I was getting free weekend calls etc she asked if I knew that I could get cheaper line rental (I thought here we go

) an amount was mentioned & all I had to do was sign 'here'. I said this Isn't BT who is it & she mumbled something which I thought was Talk Talk but I had to ask her to speak up & again she mumbled Talk Talk. At that point I politely made it very clear I was not interested & said goodbye. The worrying thing is I live in an area where most of the residents are retired & wonder how many people did she sign up by giving this misleading [cr@p] about checking that people were happy with the service BT were giving & wanting to make sure they were getting the correct options while giving the impression she was something to do with BT.
