Re: TALK TALK SUCK .....AND HERE IS WHY

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Why do people take this on the chin? if any company kept me waiting too long I would cancel the order and go elsewhere.

the more people puts up with companies like this, the worse it will get. you need to be a big boy, and tell them you are cancelling and find a decent company who can do things at the right time.

A neighbour cancelled Sky a few weeks back because they did not get there to install the box when they said they would, he waited in all day and they did not bother to even phone him, so he phoned them and cancelled there on the spot. He don't take any mucking around, good for him I say.

What would the people on here who defend Talk Talk recommend after nearly 6 months of waiting??

If i hadn't been connected in the first 3 weeks i would have left, you haven't explained why you have been unable to get a working connection.

In reply to a post by Jack_Hackett:

the thing is Jake, the few people I know who is on Talk Talk, either broadband or just land line have had or do have either a lousy service or get treated like mud when they talk to customer service. It seems like it is only you and a couple of others on here that seems to think the sun shines out of this pathetic company backside.

I know Bt customer service can be bad, but never have I been spoken to by BT like my mate was by Talk Talk.

Talk Talk are just a poor excuse of a company and the only reason they get customers is because they make promises they can't keep.
Pathetic company with pathetic customer service and pathetic products.

The latest update from the Network Team was that BT OpenReach have not found a fault,

however line testing is still showing a BT issue. This has been passed back to BT to

investigate further. We will let you know as soon as we receive additional updates.

Unfortunately, BT Openreach do not seem to know what they're doing half the time frown. Their fault-finding protocols are a joke and stuck in pre-modem/dialup time, let alone broadband. Obviously, just because BT Openreach say they cannot find a fault, doesn't mean there isn't one - if they couldn't find it, they ought to look harder! Things only get worse when TT don't seem to grasp what the problem is either.

I didn't expect BTo to find any faults on their side as I strongly suspect that this is a fault caused by poor implementation of the TT MSAN.
My hunch is that if and when it is fixed, it will have mysteriously cleared up of it's own accord.
