Hah. You've got to laugh.

He had an email from TT a couple of days ago saying they'd be in touch to discuss the problems he had which drove him to leave. I guess they've got another three or four days now to offer him LLU.

I /really/ wish my Dad had just let me organise it. Unfortunately he's stubborn and likes to be in control and I have to respect that. It doesn't help that as I suspected he's going to need help changing email settings and configuring his new router. Providing technical support to my parents is not my favourite job - he knows enough to second-guess me while I'm trying to resolve a problem which means dialog boxes and applications(*) don't stay open while I'm talking to him.

It'd be really good if TT could actually come through on this. I'm not going to hold my breath though.

(*)He likes to close any application that he hasn't used in more than five minutes.
