Leaving TalkTalk

If you leave TalkTalk for another LLU operator do you need to move your phone line back to BT first ?
And if that's the case wouldnt you be tied into a 12 month contract with BT ?

yes, or you would need to take a new line out, one other way is to move the phone number to voip then voip to the new LLU provider if they can accept the number transfer

I'm not 100% sure but i think that sky can migrate you from tt,if going full llu (ptsn &adsl) failing that its return to donor (bt) but sometimes there is a charge for this, but if you take a calling plan they apparently don't charge to re-connect you,
or you could go via the post office £85-00 connection for phone line no contract

Too much faffing about then and expensive.Should be easier in this day and age.

Not if you are moving to another Full LLU ISP, like Sky.

Tesco - will be fully run by someone line C&W and guessing its shared LLU

In theory the procedures exist for C&W to provide you telephone and broadband - whether they will take the order is another matter.

Thanks i did try the Tesco checker it failed the check.
However the exchange is not enabled till the end of the month so will try again then.
