Unlock Router

Hi Just bought off ebay a
NETGEAR ADSL 2+ WIRELESS-N WiFi MODEM ROUTER DGN2000

Seller never said it was talk talk locked and had no set up disc is there a way i can use this on O2 so far i have failed i have no login or way to clear the talk talk setting

It's not locked to TT although it probably has TT firmware on it.

First thing, do a factory reset:
switch router on with just the power connected,
press and hold the wds and wifi buttons for 10 seconds or so until lights start flashing.
when it's done connect your PC via Ethernet and login ........

192.168.1.1
admin for username and password
(it's still got TT firmware on it)

now you should be able to enter your O2 settings

If you want to put standard Netgear or DGTeam firmware on it, you'll have to rename them to end with "_TT"
