Thinking of Joining from Bt Connect service to TT LLU

Hi,

Currently with vivaciti on a resold bt connect package. Not very good internet provision so have decided to leave.

TT has just unbundled LLU service on my exchange, they are the only operator to offer LLU on the exchange. Should i sign up with them? I imagine any LLU service would trump all over BT connect package.

Anything i should watch out for when moving to TT? Do i need to provide them with my MAC?

Would i be able to retain my phone number when moving to TT.

Any cashback deals i can take advantage of?

What's a BT Connect package? Do you mean Sky Connect?

Probably referring to BT IPstream connect perhaps? i.e. the BT Wholesale product?

Sorry, yes it's the Ipstream package I am referring to.

not really related, just wondered if anyone could tell me the difference between BT wholesale and Openreach, or if they are essentially the same company, just different departments etc

Openreach look after the local loop,which is now available via LLU
and other arrangements that allow people like Sky, Digital Region and TalkTalk to provide services

BT Wholesale provide an ADSL service using their own hardware in the exchange, they also backhaul this to places around the country where providers can pick up the data if using WBC or IPStream
