I am thinking of changing to TT, really as a means of saving some money.
Currently I am on a LLU CPW line - is that straightforward to change to TT?
They seem to only offer two options at the moment - Essentials or Plus TV. What I would like is Broadband with Anytime Calls. Not interested in the TV option.
Any advice please

CPW is usually taken to mean Carphone Warehouse who is TalkTalk, or do you mean Cable and Wireless?

There is an Anytime call boost for Essentials @ £5 per month, which would bring the Essentials monthly cost to £11.50 per month (excluding current discounts and line rental). This would save you a little compared to Plus TV (you would save £6.25 per month for the first 9 months and £3.00 thereafter).

If you already get a reliable download speed then Talk Talk should be OK.
The trouble starts with them if you have to use their "Customer Services" Phoneline.
They also have a habit of sending Telephone Line Engineers out for a Broadband problem. Apparently a Broadband Engineer costs them money and they do not like that!

Thank you All for the replies.
I have read all the history with them and peoples opinion is very mixed. At the moment I am just weighing up the pros and cons.

I suspect you will have problems migrating from a cpw llu line to talktalk llu as it would be an internal migration and that generally wont work.

Odd, carphone warehouse is talktalk so you've basically already got a talktalk line.
