Something in your PC/router held the stream back and then released it all at once. It can happen, and there's thousands of reasons why it could. You're only special if the average is faster than your connection.

At a guess you have Kaspersky running

No sorry never had Kaspersky on my laptop..
All very strange just done another speed test and again another very high max burst.

There is no point in JUST posting the numbers, always post the graph if querying a result.

So which AV software do you use.

Kaspersky is known for its manipulation of the HTTP data, so there may be another to add to the list.
