Talktalk modem issue with iplayer please help

Hi,
I really would appreciate help from anyone! I recently had a very old talktalk router replaced with a new Huawei HG523a wireless router. Since I have had this BBC iplayer will not work properly it is constantly buffering and the speech is impossible to listen to. With my old wireless router it was ok. A friend of mine suggested I try using a ethernet cable from router to tv to see if this made any difference. It didn't. I have contacted Talktalk and they don't want to know. Help please!!

I sadly cannot advise what the cause or resolution maybe for this issue.. However what I wanted to suggest was... You said TalkTalk don't want to know, are you referring to the Call Centre? If so google TalkTalk members forum, and register with them.

If the official forum, and there are staff members on there who are very helpful.
