I had fibre broadband with Sky and the phone line rental with them. For whatever reason TalkTalk don't offer Fibre when you sign up, you have to take ADSL broadband first. So this is what I now have, having just taken the phone line + tv + broadband package. My line and ADSL broadband are now both active with TalkTalk according to the My Account on their website and an email I received from them.
But Sky have now proceeded to charge me another months line rental and fibre broadband charges. They are saying that there is nothing they can do about this because TalkTalk put a cease on the line, and should have removed it when the line became active with them? They also mentioned that TalkTalk should have requested a fibre cancellation with them, though I don't know how TalkTalk would have known I had fibre with Sky to ask that?
I am frustrated because Sky say there is nothing they can do, and TalkTalk are constantly either saying their systems are down and to ring back tomorrow, or that I need to talk to Sky.
Can someone perhaps give me a clue as to I need to be speaking with to get this resolved. Is it TalkTalk or is it Sky?
