1st working link Is that really an award worthy of anything ?
The second one must of been one of their sales /marketing in house awards , maybe ASA ruled it was misleading or something and they had to remove it,=

Or was it this that you where referring to http://www.uswitch.com/broadband/awards/2013/ Do U switch awards count for anything ? aren't they like some other web sites that will only recommend those ISP's who pay them to?

Well of course they do - if you believe in awards like this.

After all, according to their own blurb, they did survey 900 people. How many UK residential BB lines are there - around 20 million ?

So how much is the opinion of 0.0045% of the user base worth ?

But probably as useful as any other survey produced by a company that thinks it has found a way of getting some cheap publicity (allegedly).

Surveys like this are of more value to simplifydigital than anyone else.

I think they're great value, the broadband service has been great. They deserve all they get and more!

Echo! The TalkTalk ADSL2+ LLU service has been close to flawless. Outages over several years of service have been just a few minutes. Excellent service. And for those needing customer service assistance, then TalkTalk's Online Community Executives do a great job in the talktalkmembers forum.

Here's hoping that TalkTalk keeps up a good reputation for its FTTC customers.

I certainly don't believe in such awards where TalkTalk are concerned. Certainly not from a speed perspective anyway. In the last month I have taken two 80 mile round trips to sort out networks and troublesome lappys for others. Both were on TalkTalk LLU and less than a mile from their exchange. My sister was the best of the two in Harwich with a 5mbps service. The friend in Ipswich is struggling with 3.5Mbps, while BT customers in her street whizz along at 21Mbps. My Market 1 exchange at the other end of Suffolk may have had TT LLU for over 18 months, but it would take a hell of an offer to tempt me to take it with same speeds showing here. It may be reliable, but anything that slow should be.
