The recent storms have highlighted something that strikes me as quite odd with my Talk Talk ADSL in my road in Christchurch, Dorset. I get outages and crackle on the telephone line AFTER a storm (i.e when it is drying out or dry) and, so does a neighbour further up the same road (Also on Talk Talk).
A BT engineer renewed the cable from the pole to my house last year but it still continues to happen. The Talk Talk engineer(?) has been a couple of times and done the regular tests. He confirmed that it was nothing to do with my router or socket and appeared to be outside of my property.
Has anyone had any similar experiences and if so, how was it resolved?
