Looks like TalkTalk has landed at Bredon exhange.

According to Samknows TalkTalk is now at Bredon Market 1 exchange.
From their website, expected download speed of 16Mbps against 12Mbps from BT. Is this correct.
Have no issue previously with TT support, only moved due to ADSL2+ upgrade refused.
Looking to move from BT due to increased cost.
Extra speed would also mean no need to move to fibre at later date.

If BT is suggested 12 Mbps from ADSL2+ then similar speeds will be possible from ADSL2+ via TalkTalk.

Since the way ADSL2+ behaves is largely the same no matter which providers hardware is running it.

Which one is accurate you won't know until enabled, do you have ADSL up and running already, if so what are the statistics from the modem, in terms of attenuation, connection speed and noise margin.

As TalkTalk now has LLU install at my exchange. My question really was should I expect higher speed via LLU than current BT install. I believe TT is up to 24Mbps whereas BT is up to 17Mbps

Kitz shows current speed would be same for BTW and LLU ADSL2+

They are both adsl2+ but the marketing rules limit the advertised speed and TalkTalk do not advertise 24 Mbps usually, but 17 Mbps

As same tech but just different hardware speeds should be around the same

All ADSL2+ is technically up to 24 Meg but by regulation has to be advertised lower, usually <17-18 Meg.

Subject to DLM, in particular NMs, speeds will be the same.
