TalkTalk Poor ADSL speeds

Have Talk Talk basic TV package
Speeds are Only 2.4 Mbit download and upload almost non existant

Here are the rourter stats
ADSL Filters are good and have swapped them over

What sort of Speeds would you expect from these stats

Range is potentially 4.6 to 10 Mbps

Line is only set to ADSL mode which may not be helping, i.e. try ADSL2 and ADSL2+ modes if you have the opportunity and are the stats any different when you use the test socket that is part of your master socket (i.e. this means all the extensions will be disconnected reducing any effect their wiring has)

ADSL Socket is standard BT with New Microfilter
Bell wire removed from Socket
Router is a DSL-3780

Cant find anyway to change to ADSL2 or anything else from the router page

Will i have to pass this to TalkTalk to get them to check
Seeing som errored seconds on the status page

It is possible TalkTalk has capped your connection speed to try and make things stable, i.e. reduce the number of errors.

Was the connection speeds much different in the past?

We also need your exchange to see if it is adslMax only, if so a 3200kbps synch speed you will only see a 2.4Mbps max speedtest.

He's on TalkTalk LLU (adsl2+) as his upload is 800 Kbps

Unlikely to be that as the OP has 800k upstream sync. This would indicate it is an LLU service, potentially capped at ADSL1 which will allow the best upstream possible and not limited to 448 as would be on an ADSL Max product.

I had 832 upload sync on ADSLMax. 8192/832 sync with a 7150 adjusted thing (on BT equipment) and a 6900 speedtest.

Was it Annex M or something like that?

However, I don't think you'd get an 800 sync on ADSLMax Annex M.
