Surprise increase in download speed

For the last 12 months I had TT Faster Fibre, speed up to 76 Mb, but due to distance from the cabinet I had a stable download speed of 13.3 Mbps. This week I have changed to the 38 Mb service, and I'm getting what seems a stable download at 16.05 Mbps.

I'm sure there's a logical reason for this, but that aside, it's nice to feel happy with TalkTalk for a change!

Same VDSL2, but the product change may have caused the DLM to reset and be relearning, so it may in term depending on how stable the line is head towards the 13 Mbps figure.
