Switching to TalkTalk

I'm looking at switching to TalkTalk fibre (76Mb) from BT Infinity 2, simply due to price. BT can't budge on £43.99 a month and TalkTalk will do it for £31.50 + £8 for Sky Sports.

I'm currently on a banded IP profile due to an unstable modem. Will the banding be removed when I switch to TT? My exchange has TT LLU.

Also is there any risk i'll lose the landline number switching to TT?

Last question, I'm using my own modem and router on BT which I want to use on TT. Can I?

The banding is done by BT's kit, so it will go as you'll be connected to TalkTalk's exchange equipment. DLM should learn how best to manage your line once you're connected.

You should be able to keep your existing number when transferring your line to TT, yes.

I didnt know there was DLM on LLU kit?

I use a Billion 8800NL for my business line, no problems.

Might be a little cheaper on a 24month contract ordered before 14/9/17.
