Talktalk mail

I have just received a letter from Talk Talk advertising their broadband service. I and presumably all my neighbours can not use this service as there is no Talktalk equipment in the exchange.

Should I at least be grateful to Talktalk for keeping the Post Office in business?

Have you checked this recently? They still continue to add new areas.

There's also many customers who can't order Talktalk ADSL services as they have no equipment in the PSTN exchange but they do have a presence in the Fibre Head-End/Parent exchange.
I'm not sure what happens in such a scenario though.

Well I did check again before I wrote the post! I think the fibre connection to my cabinet actually comes from an exchange which is miles away. I wonder if the problem is lack of telephone equipment at the local exchange. I actually have a Vodafone service and according this website the actual speed of my 38mbps service puts me in the top 10%. I am now just over half way through my 18 month contract.
