We've looked on the internet and tried the TalkTalk and Tiscali server settings and appropriate port numbers with TLS enabled. Everything just seems to result in the message
Unable to verify account name or password.
Incoming POP3 is port 995, TLS security and Authentication method: Normal Password
Outgoing SMTP is port 587, TLS security and Authentication method: Normal Password
Username : [email protected]
He is able to log into the main talktalk website using these credentials and can then access webmail that way.
Can an apple user with a old (legacy) tiscali account confirm the mail settings. I believe my mate would rather use POP3, but IMAP should do just as well....
