TalkTalk Business FTTP 900 service - any feedback?

I am reviewing options for my FTTP 900 service with static IP, as I'm now out of contract with current supplier.

I have seen TTB have a business 900 service with static IP for £31.95 for 24 months, and quite tempted. I have previously had a FTTC service with TT residential, that was reliable. Only issue I had was with portal, and unable to manage my account and get bills online, took ages to sort out, but this was 3-4 years ago, so I assume things have improved with their portal now. Possibly TTB uses a different portal anyway?

Looking at reviews online for TTB, trustpilot suggests TTB score 4.8/5.0, but digging a little deeper on the reviews, many look a bit suspect.

Looking for some real unbiased feedback on TTB, if there are any users on here?

I am an FTTC TTB user. Network: Stable and no congestion. Portal: Not brilliant. Most of the links on the Portal dont work and raising a ticket is nigh on impossible apart from using the chat box or phone. Had a query with a bill and was passed between several departments to find out it was annual increase. Nothing stated on bill.

FTTP from TTB has been faultless, but their handling of problems on a copper phone line has been dire.

Connectivity from our TTB FTTP is great, just resigned for our second term

However, we had an incident last year where the service failed and although TTB were responsive (answering calls/emails) they were clearly just relaying information form Openreach and it was horrible.

Fibre was damage in a 'manhole' a few hundred meters away which took 2 weeks to fix

Try searching out what @pheasant had to say about them on this forum. IIRC, initial impression was good but it turned very sour.

The September offer was at business.talktalk.co.uk, its back at £41.95 now. My guess they have subscriber targets to achieve, and having occasional offers will get new customers in an attempt to achieve those subscriber numbers. TTB is a separate company. The small print does say prices every March with CPI+3.9%, but I have factored that in.
